So let me just get right to it – and start off this post by explaining what I actually ordered! At the time that I ordered these products, BH Cosmetics was having a promotion where if you spent $25, you got a palette for FREE… now I don’t know about you, but whenever I see ads for “free” stuff, I always assume it’s some small little dinky thing that I can’t even use or that doesn’t last… that’s honestly kind of what I thought when they advertised a “Free” palette… but boy was I wrong!
Here is what I ordered…
1. GALAXY CHIC PALETTE
This palette is what I am doing the actual review on, and it was so cheap!
2. FAN BRUSH, EYELINER BRUSH, BLUSH
The fan brush – is amazing! the quality is great and I LOVE using it to highlight. The eyeliner brush is just ok – the handle feels a little cheap, but it’s a good brush overall and for the price – can’t complain. Lastly the blush – I LOVE! the color is great (and is what I am wearing in the photos) and blends really well 🙂
3. THE FREE PALETTE!!!
Can you believe how HUGE this palette is you guys?!? I couldn’t believe it! and not only is it a big palette, but it’s a FULL palette – with blushes and an eyeliner pen! (I show the full palette in my YT video!) I seriously was in shock when I received this and I love both palettes so much. SUCH an amazing deal.
Ok so now that you’ve seen what I actually ordered, I want to get right into the Galaxy Chic Palette. The colors in this palette are incredible! So beautiful and so many colors to choose from.
My two cons of this palette would be that 1. the shadows themselves are not very pigmented. You have to use a lot of the shadow to get the saturation that you need 2. Every shadow is metallic/shimmery so I would never use multiple shadows in one look. In my photos I am wearing 1 shadow from the Galaxy palette and 2 shadows from the Dark Rose palette which are matte ( if you watch the video I explain in more detail what I am wearing). I do wish some of the shadows were matte, but, I would still buy it regardless.
Here are the swatches!! I have to admit I did use a shadow base (Too Faced Glitter Glue) underneath the swatches to get the color to show up more for the photos.
At the end of the day you guys… this palette was a great deal, the colors are amazing and you can do SO much with the palette. The colors are not very pigmented as I mentioned, but that won’t stop me from creating some pretty awesome eye looks.
I hope you all found this review helpful! and I hope you all go check out BH Cosmetics – they always have awesome deals going on!
